We stayed in the three-bedroom house, and it has been newly renovated. We were a family of 6 and absolutely loved the accommodation. Everything was better than expected and the manager was more than helpful. There were two toilets as well which is a bonus when staying with a large group. We highly recommend this motel and would definitely stay again.

Great option in Whitianga. Exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable host. Large clean comfy well-equipped room with big bed and full TV channels. We even found the newspaper on the doorstep when we woke. Highly recommend.

Fred is a great host, who goes above and beyond for his guests, easy place to stay and make a base from. Nice clean rooms comfortable beds, spacious and easy parking. Well equipped kitchen but the host made it for us.

A great place to stay. It was one of the best we experienced on our trip. Great layout, excellent wi-fi, super comfy bed and pillows. Nice and clean. The location was excellent too. Couldn't fault. Thank you!

The room was clean and had everything we required, and a newspaper delivered to read with our morning coffee. The bed was lovely and comfortable with an electric blanket. Fred was a warm and friendly host, and nothing was too much trouble for him. Great wheelchair access too.

My husband and I are cycle touring and wanted to stay in town for a rest day & to miss the rain! We were walk-in customers, and luckily for us, Fred had an available room. The room was clean, tidy, and very comfortable, and Fred was very welcoming, offering to help with anything we may need. Close to town to town so shops and cafes are easy to walk to. Nice trail round the town and museum is an interesting place on a rainy day. Highly recommend this Motel. A further note to say a massive thank you to Fred and his family for reuniting us with our passports. They had accidentally fallen from our bag before leaving, and we didn't realise until late the following afternoon. All worked out well, and we are very grateful

We have been to Peninsula few times and absolutely love it. Stayed in the Studio Apartment which was really clean and kitchen well equipped. Wi-Fi was brilliant. TV had all Sky channels including movies and sports. And even inbuilt Netflix. Fred the Manager is always pleasant and even offered us some of his home-grown fresh lettuce. Looking forward to our next visit there
